Your Placenta is lovingly processed with the utmost respect & heartfelt healing energy.
Safety & Sanitation is paramount while handling & processing your placenta, from start to finish.
The health & safety of all my mum's & bub's comes first.
before i start
The work area is sanitized & covered with a full protective plastic coating & I wear full PPE. These are single use & discarded after each & every placenta is processed.
The high standard of PPE for myself & the space is to eliminate contact with your blood & vice versa.
From here I place your placenta on a flat glass cutting board which is placed on top of bluey pads & I inspect your placenta for variations. Variations are completely normal as each placenta is unique (just like us). I record all variations for your records & I take photo's & create your Placenta Print at this stage.
Next step is: I give your placenta a gentle wash to remove any meconium, amniotic fluid, excess blood & any clots.
cord keepsake
Next Step is: The cord is cut at the insertion point & any remaining blood is drained. Your cord is then put into the desired shape.
To eliminate cross contamination your cord keepsake is placed on the bottom shelf of the dehydrator.
placenta preparation
For the Traditional Method, your placenta is wrapped in unbleached parchment paper & placed in a steamer pot for approx. 40 mins & until it reaches & maintains an internal temperature of 71 degrees.
Then I allow your placenta to cool & place your placenta on a clean sterilized glass cutting board. Now I slice your placenta into the thinnest slices & arrange them neatly on the lined dehydrator trays. Your placenta slices are dehydrated for 12+ hours at 72 degrees & until they are snap dry.
placenta tincture
If you have ordered a tincture, a small, raw piece of your placenta is set aside & minced for this process.
I use organic 100% proof Australian owned alcohol for all tinctures.
grounding
On the second day of preparation, your placenta is handled with the same care and respect as day one. The workspace is freshly prepared with protective coverings, and all proper PPE is worn to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Once ready, your placenta is gently broken into smaller pieces and ground into a fine powder, ready to be placed into capsules made especially for you.
Capsule blessings
Your capsules are blessed by me while being made, sending through high frequency love, healing & an abundance of nourishing milk supply for your baby.
Your capsules are natural, vegetable capsules suitable for vegetarians & vegans.

Each placenta is unique in its size and shape, so the number of capsules created will naturally vary from person to person.
Every batch is as individual as the mother it was made for.
As processing your amazing placenta takes so much time, we are only able to process 3 placentas per week, so you are best to book your due date in to secure your spot as soon as you think this is right for you.
